Finishing Options
A wide variety of choices ranging from bindings, cut/trim options, padding glue, folding/scoring, etc. are available to make simple printing really stand out.
This list will aid in the decision-making process.
Comb Binding & Coil Binding: Specially punched holes work with round plastic Comb bindings OR Spiral Coil bindings to hold multi-page documents together. Can be trimmed to smaller than 8.5” but no longer than 11”. Spiral sizes and an approximate number of 20 lb. sheets each holds include:

Staples: Can be placed in various locations on the page. Whether the document is vertical or horizontal, the placements will adjust to accommodate the format. Multi-document orders can be collated but cannot be stapled as one group.

- 2 Staples: Side or Top
- Saddle: 2 staples along the spine of a booklet
Padding Glue: Holds together custom sized notepads. Specify the number of sheets per pad, the size of the finished pad, and upload custom artwork.
Carbonless Fan Apart Padding: Only used for adhering Carbonless papers into sets. When choosing Carbonless Sets at the beginning of placing an order, Fan Apart Padding is automatically added.
Pouch Lamination: 3mil, 5mil or 10 mil pouch lamination is available for ID cards, Half Sheet 6x9, Letter sized or tabloid sized sheets.
Cutting/Trimming Options: Our Titan 200 Paper Cutter’s powerful twenty-inch blade can trim all stocks that we offer. “Cutting” costs by printing multiples on one page or trimming to custom sizes gives a multitude of options when it comes to finished sizes. Please make note of any custom finishing specifications as the standard options may not apply. The smallest dimension capable is 2”, allowing us to make business cards and ticket sized pads efficiently.
Folding/Scoring: A “fine line” between these can make choosing difficult but by definition, they are different. Half folds are often done with the finishing features on our printers. Other standard folds on most paper stocks can be done on our freestanding folding machine quickly. Custom hand folding can be done but labor fees will be added on. Scoring is a precise crease, used to make folding of heavier stocks clean and efficient; used mostly for Pocket Folders and Greeting Cards.
Hole Punch: (“drilling”) 1, 2, 3, 5, or other. Standard options can be done directly in the printer. Custom options can be done on the hand press paper drill. For standard 3-hole punch be sure all text and images are ½” from the sides to avoid drilling through copy.
